We had a little intruder in to our warehouse last night, I suspect to escape the storm - if you live in Melbourne you know what I'm talking about. He was probably looking for somewhere dry to stay for a while but soon realised he had hit the dessert jackpot when he saw our shelf of beautifully wrapped chocolates ready for Easter orders.
I popped in to the warehouse today to get started on some orders we received on the weekend, and thank goodness I did. I didn't find the little guy (I assume not so little now after the amount of chocolate he ate), but I imagine he didn't fit out the hole he came in through. I bet his belly is as big as Brazil. Honestly, I'm a flesh and blood human woman and even I couldn't have eaten the amount of chocolate this little guy did. Wherever you are little mouse, I hope you have a really bad tummy ache right now. After a thorough cleanup (and a few strategically placed traps), our warehouse now looks a little different. We are using plastic tubs to put all of our beautiful products in, with a sturdy, sealed lid. Although I have just read that mice will chew through that too if they really want to. Hmmm maybe it's time to get a cat.So I say to you little mouse, you saw an opportunity and you took it. I'm not even mad. I'm impressed. Just don't do it again.
